Anthony 'Kouta' Koutoufides

Known to the Australian football public as Kouta, Anthony Koutoufides was one of the most brilliant footballers of his time, he was versatile, playing in almost every position and capable of turning a game on its head with his unrelenting endurance.

Of Greek and Italian descent, Koutoufides grew up in the Melbourne suburb of Lalor where he struggled to get permission from his parents to play Australian Rules Football. Luckily for us, Kouta's parents relented and we have had the privilege of watching one of the games greats.

Kouta has gone on to become an Australian Celebrity off the field also, making numerous television appearances both during and after his football career. He stared as a gladiator on the Australian television series "Gladiators", not to mention his brilliant display of skill and co-ordination which saw him crowned as the winner of the Australian version of "Dancing with the Stars" in 2006. Koutoufides often jokes that his victory on "Dancing with the Stars" was equally as enjoyable as his AFL Premiership.

Now days, Kouta is one of the most sought after guest speakers on the Australian sporting and corporate circuit. He is comfortable speaking in front of any demographic and is never afraid to answer the tough questions.
