Lawrence Mooney is an Australian comedian, actor, radio broadcaster and TV host. Growing up in the Melbourne suburb of Bayswater, the Moon Man has been a prominent name in Australian comedy for more than two decades.
A former customs officer and now father of two, Lawrence brings a wealth of life experience to his hilarious comedy performances, whether it be hosting a corporate comedy event or entertaining a local sporting club crowd on a Saturday night.
Mooney’s TV credits include hosting his own show “Dirty Laundry” on ABC, appearances on Agony Uncles, The Project, The Circle, Spicks and Specks, Can of Worms, Einstein Factor and most recently being part of Channel 7’s AFL football coverage. You may even recognise the Moon Man as head coach in the hugely popular online sensation “The Suburban Footballer”.
Lawrence’s talents have spread much further then the Australian continent also; he was a semi finalist on American’s NBC TV show “Last Comic Standing” where he played to TV audiences all around the world.
