Wil Anderson is a multi award winning comedian, writer, TV host, radio presenter and podcaster.
Wil grew up in Gippsland (country Victoria) before moving to Canberra to start university. After graduating top of his journalism class
he decided it was time to launch a stand - up comedy career and as they say, the rest is history.
Will Anderson has been performing all around the world for the last 2 decades, this includes sell out shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival every year since 1998. Furthermore, he has taken his talents to the ‘Just For Laughs’ comedy festival in Canada, ‘Edinburgh Fringe’ festival in Scotland as well as touring extensively throughout the USA.
Will has become a household name since he first appeared on the ‘The Glass House’ on ABC. From there he went on to co - host a breakfast show on ‘Triple J’ Radio as well as becoming the host of the ABC’s ‘The Gruen Transfer.’ This show debuted on the 28th of May 2008 and had a record breaking audience of 1.287 million viewers, the highest rating debut entertainment program in the history of the ABC.
