Joel Ozborn

Joel Ozborn is an Australian comedian and radio broadcaster who learnt his trade-craft of comedy on the busy streets of Sydney’s Circular Quay.

Starting out in the game with his bizarre street comedy, Joel eventually won the 1998 Street Performer of the Year competition which took his career to the next level.

Joel took the plunge and moved to America later in 1998 where he supported the world renowned comedian/magician The Amazing Johnathan. Living the comedians dream, Joel traveled across America and continued his street performing in famous destinations like Venice Beach.

Joel has done some bizarre things to entertain the masses over the years but none more so then having a member of the audience fire a sling shot at his face or squeezing himself through a tennis racket.

Joel returned to Australia after four years away and began his career as a corporate and club comedian, travelling the Australian countryside with his bizarre style of comedy. After a great deal of success, Joel was on the road again, this time with Australian comedy legends Akmal Saleh and Arj Barker.

As well as touring many regional areas Joel has also graced the stages of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Adelaide Fringe Festival and Sydney Cracker Comedy Festival. He continues to work with Arj Barker and Akmal Saleh and if you happen to be holidaying aboard a cruise ship in the Pacific, you may have the pleasure of experiencing the talents of Joel Ozborn first hand
