Denise Scott

Denise Scott is an author, an actor, radio presenter and a darn good comedian.

Starting her comedy career in the company of Australian legends like Steve Vizard, Judith Lucy, Anthony Morgan, Jimeoin, Greg Fleet, Lano and Woodley,

Scared Weird Little Guys and the Umbilical Brothers to name a few, Denise has gone on to forge a career while many of her contemporaries have long since retired.

Scotty is showing no signs of aging either with the last five years being her most productive. She has played sold out theatre shows during the Melbourne International Comedy festival, dazzled corporate comedy crowds, become a regular on Australian Television and written a book that has sold like hot cakes.

Some of Scotty’s career highlights include receiving a Barry Award in 2014 for Best Show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, writing a best selling book All That Happened at Number 26 and playing the role of Trish Gross on the Channel 7 TV show Winners & Loosers.

Scotty has also added a host of other awards to her already impressive comedy resume, these include the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Directors’ Choice Award and winning a Helpmann Award for Best Comedy Performer.

Denise Scott will return to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2015 with her solo show Mother Bare, but if you can’t get along to see that one then best you book Scotty for your next corporate comedy event!
