Claire Hooper

Claire Hooper is an Australian comedian, author, writer and broadcaster who is best known for her role on Channel TEN’s Good News Week in which she was a team captain, opposing her fellow comedian Mikey Robins. 

Clair began her comedy career in Perth in 2004 when she shot to prominence with her victory in the state final of Australia’s prestigious comedy competition ‘Raw Comedy’.

Since becoming a regular performer at Australian comedy clubs, Claire has performed at a number of corporate comedy events and appeared on Australian TV shows Rove, Stand Up Australia, The Sideshow and the Mellbourne International Comedy Festivals Great Debate. 

Those that live in Sydney can hear Claire through the airwaves on Monday to Friday  mornings where she is  as co-host of Mix 106.5’s The Brighter Side of Breakfast with Dr Andrew Rochford.

Claire is an award winning stand up comedian who has performed many solo shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Back in 2006, Claire was nominated for Best Newcomer award before taking her show all the way to Scotland for the Edingburgh Fringe Festival. 

Adding further credentials to her already impressive entertainment resume, Claire has also written, directed and performed in a number of theatre shows. There is no end to this young ladies talent, she is a lovable enthusiastic performer and a must for your next corporate comedy event.
